Adele releases her highly anticipated fifth album titled “30” today, as well as the upcoming deluxe reissue of the set.
When it comes to Adele, no announcement is too big to be made.
The pop superstar released her sixth studio album, “30,” today, and it’s official: She’s headed to Las Vegas to tour with the long-running residency at the Colosseum.
The tour kicks off Friday, Jan. 22, with a newly introduced bill titled “Weekends with Adele,” and runs through April 2021.
(You may not be aware, but the Colosseum performs shows that are presented in reverse order, and a “Weekends” evening at the Colosseum isn’t necessarily followed by a “Saturday” night at the Flamingo, and vice versa.)
We’re told that there are no dates and to expect no more announcements until the beginning of the year.
Once all tickets go on sale, they’ll also include a digital download of “30” for $16, and a limited-edition popsicle to take home to commemorate the occasion.
Pre-sale and ticket info here; A digital download of “30” for $16 can be purchased here.

The album “30” is self-titled and is Adele’s second-official comeback since 2012’s “21,” and is the follow-up to last year’s chart-topping “A Hello” which once again dominated the U.S. pop charts this past summer.
She performed the best-selling album on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday, where she also performed one of “30”‘s many stunning and unique songs.

“30” includes 13 original songs with production by Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin.
The artists of that album also made a surprise appearance during the recent American Country Music Awards, where Adele sang “Together At Last” with Jennifer Nettles and the duo performed one of their original songs, “Unfinished,” during the show.
Adele recorded all her studio work in Los Angeles before taking the album and vocals to the U.K. to work in her recording studio. She brought Kurstin along for that, as well. The “Unfinished” song was co-written by Myles Kennedy, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Andre Michels and produced by Fred Easley.

“I was amazed by the emotional album sound,” said Kurstin, who produced Adele’s previous album, “25.” “It’s a duet for the soul that we both felt it needed to be.
I love the sound of this album and am proud to have been part of the magic that created it.”
Tickets to the “Weekends with Adele” residency are on sale Monday, Dec. 28, at Livenation-reserved seats, while tickets to tickets to the “30” album are available on www.livenation.com/apptix.
